At the upcoming meeting of the Midwest Political Science Association in Chicago, there will be a great roundtable on the election. It will include not only Wonkblog’s Ezra Klein and 538’s Nate Silver, but a stellar line-up of political scientists:
- Larry Bartels of Vanderbilt and a contributor here at The Monkey Cage.
- Drew Linzer of Emory, who created the forecasting model at Votamatic.org.
- Simon Jackman of Stanford, who was responsible for the forecasts at the Huffington Post’s Pollster.
- Lynn Vavreck of UCLA, with whom I’m co-authoring The Gamble.
I’ll be moderating the discussion.
The panel is scheduled for Saturday, April 13, at 4:35 pm in the Palmer House Hilton. Please come!
