We’re pleased to have Catie Bailard guest-blogging with us this week.  Catie is a political scientist in GW’s School of Media and Public Affairs.  Her work centers on the effects of the internet, particularly in the developing world.  Here, for example, is a published piece (gated) on mobile phone diffusion and corruption in Africa (see also these slides).  We’re glad to have her aboard.
