And speaking of brains: How smart is your right foot?

Try this. It won’t take more than a couple of seconds.

1. Without anyone watching you and while sitting at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles with it. Clockwise—not counter-clockwise!

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number ‘6’ in the air with your right hand.

Your foot just changed direction, didn’t it? I’ll bet it did. Apparently I’ll lose a few of these bets, but I like the odds.

Here’s a little information about this phenomenon.

Perhaps political scientists should test this theory with numbers other than 6 and then switch to the left foot and left arm. Then, test right foot, left arm followed by left foot, right arm. And perhaps Roman Numerals could be substituted for Arabic. I anxiously await the results.

Thanks Lee, that’s more than a little infuriating!

It’s easy. Just draw the 6 clockwise too.
