Someone pointed me to this, writing, “I thought you might be interested in this article on the SEC’s use of statistics in building its ‘Accounting Quality Model.’

But all I noticed was that Lloyd Blankfein is listed as a guest contributor. It’s a little scary to think of him as part of a forum on corporate governance!

I’m reminded again of the Speed Racer principle: Often what’s most interesting is not overt content but rather the unexamined assumptions.
