Georgetown showed up as a top Obama donor in 2008. But when I checked the details it was primarily contributions by adjunct faculty and other folks who are in and out of government — former ambassadors, folks who have served in cabinets, etc.

You might take a look at Obama’s top contributors and industries in 2008 vs 2012. There’s some interesting shifts.
