A team of political scientists at the University of Connecticut and the University of Rhode Island—Samuel Best, Brian Kreuger, Jeffrey Ladewig, and Clifford Vickrey—has put together a wonderful resources for searching historical exit poll data from 1972-2010. The site is Dimpled Chad. It allows you to do specific searches, look at both marginals and cross-tabs, and generate some simple graphs.
