Farmscape for Mayor

A la the Murray Hill campaign in 2010, another business is running for office: Farmscape.  Their site is here.  “Bio” is above.  Here is video from when they registered the company to vote.

I sure hope nobody takes from this that we should require a photo ID or proof of U.S. citizenship before registering voters or allowing them to vote, because that would be wrong. In fact, even reminding people that it’s illegal for non-citizens to vote is tantamount to voter suppression.

It’s only illegal for non-citizens to vote if the state in question made it illegal for non-citizens to vote. It’s the state that determines who can and cannot vote. If the only qualification for voting is that you’re just a resident…

Theoretically, correct. However, it’s a federal crime for a non-citizen to vote in any federal election, regardless of state, or to register to vote in a federal election. And every state in the United States has made it illegal for a non-citizen to vote, to the best of my knowledge. If you know of any state in which non-citizens are eligible to vote, please share it with us.

love this ad. It reminded me right away of Chauncey Gardner. This would have been his dream ad.

    what’s all this about non-citizens?

corporations can’t be non-citizens, only people can be non-citizens.
