We are very pleased to have Nolan McCarty as a new occasional contributor to The Monkey Cage. Nolan is the Susan Dod Brown Professor of Politics and Public Affairs at Princeton University. His work has focused on American political institutions and especially the study of partisan polarization. See, for example, his recent book with Keith Poole and Howard Rosenthal, Polarized America. We’ve discussed his work many times on this blog, and we’re glad to have him aboard.
