Wow, that Steve Forbes guy is pretty dumb! I wonder how someone this foolish got a column in Forbes magazine???

Very informative post. If you keep this stuff up, you might be just as good as Guns, Lawyers, and Money.

Not all posts have to be informative in themselves. Sometimes it can be a contribution to point to an interesting post that has appeared elsewhere. One of our duties as political scientists is to point out the misunderstandings that are out there in the popular press. That’s not our only goal or even our main goal—we spend a lot more time doing research—but it’s important.

I’ll second Andy. We do a lot of original analysis and writing on this blog. But we also aggregate and thereby “curate” interesting content that our readers might not otherwise not see.

Dynastic succession — it’s not just bad politics…

I wish people would remember guys like Steve Forbes when they start with sentimental tosh about “family businesses.”
