Class Bias among Members of Congress

I am guest-blogging at 538 for the next few weeks.  Most of my more substantive posts will probably end up there, but I will link from here as well.  The first one is now up.  Here’s the teaser:

These things suggest that many, if not most, politicians at the federal level come from the upper social classes. Certainly they are much wealthier than the average American. But does the social class of elected leader actually affect how they vote?
