Unfortunately I lost Arianna Huffington’s personal email–I think it was on a slip of paper that was in my pocket and ended up in the laundry–but I’ve heard that items published here occasionally reach her desk, so I’ll give this a try.
I’d like to add three more arguments in favor of Josh’s offer (which he didn’t clear with the rest of us, by the way!) to join forces with the Huffington Post.
1. Sure, the Monkey Cage is expensive–and we’re worth it! But all of us together will cost you much less than a single seat in the U.S. Senate.
2. In any case, a Senate seat lasts only 6 years. The Monkey Cage is forever
3. We Monkey Cagers are honest. If you buy us, we stay bought. After buying us, you don’t have to check with those pesky California voters to approve your purchase.
