The idea is simple: if you have a case to make, you search for the jurisdiction that is most likely to grant you a favorable outcome and then file the case there. So imagine how pleased I was to realize my 3 year old son had completely grasped this concept when this morning he was in the kitchen with my wife, but took the time to run out of the kitchen partially up the stairs to ask _me_ whether it would be OK if he tried the left-over mac and cheese in the refrigerator from last night to “make sure it was OK”.
